This blog is about things that interest me and things that make me smile - whether it be motorbikes, books, painting things, making things or breaking things. The title is inspired by Harry Enfield's clip at the foot of the page, beneath the kittens!
GBC LIKES THAT A LOT!!!
ReplyDeleteIf only it was so easy.
ReplyDeleteI like that. I have plenty of WD-40 and duct tape on my truck at work. That, and plenty of bale-ing wire.
ReplyDeleteNeeds some alcoholic intervention before the use of WD or Duct tape!
ReplyDeleteIs that "Pondering Alcoholic Intervention" while you decide whether WD or Duct tape is most suitable for the purpose? When I was a smoker, I used to have "Pondering Cigs" - now I just follow the Engineering Flowchart..............
ReplyDeletePondering with alcohol go hand in hand, or at least a cuppa of lukewarm tea in a chipped mug. Doesn't seem natural without them.
ReplyDeleteAlcohol tends to be used after the cup of tea has failed to bring enlightenment, and to prevent the application of large hammers and bad language! I too miss the pondering cigs!
ReplyDeleteI still feel the urge for Pondering Cigs now - I miss rolling 'em as much as smoking 'em....
ReplyDeleteCigs...I had urges to smoke for ten years after I quit. Say SFB, I notice you are a member over at The Bridge Club. Have you tried to leave a comment at that site? I get a message that says only 'team members' are allowed to comment. Is that different from being just a 'member'? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I don't know Larry! Haven't tried it yet - I'll have a look later.
ReplyDeleteLarry, you need to be added as an author in order to add comments - needs the blog owner to do that.
ReplyDeleteWell....just went over to the 'Bridge Club", and now it comes up looking like a 'Flicker' page...sort of, can't seem to keep up with that site, got lost in some 'google problem report' jazz...I'll have to get back to that later.
