Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

While at the Thundersprint the other weekend, I started reading Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's "The White Company" over breakfast in the hotel.  Afterwards I sort of wished I'd nicked it so I could finish reading it but that would have been a bit naughty really.  Today I'm very happy to have found the following website, which has all sorts of classic books available to read on-line, including The White Company.

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

Plenty there to keep me quiet :-)

  2. I learn new stuff every day...like how to delete mis-placed posts. Since I'm back here...Maybe you need a "Kindle". I received one for Christmas, that I have yet learned to use. A friend tells me has 2500 books he downloaded for free. I'll have to look into it. I think I will purchase the "New" autobiography of Mark Twain, published a hundred years after his passing. Science fiction just keeps coming true...

  3. Tee-hee, I noticed the mis-placed post - well done!
I've got a Sony E-Reader - that's pretty easy to use but I must admit, I still prefer a "real" book with proper pages to turn and flick through.
